"When I do have contact with judges it's at arm's length. I mean, the Our Nevada Judges Corporation is a nonprofit organization separate from the courts, and out of respect for their role I don't get too close to them."

Our Nevada Judges, Inc., Facebook page, post of December 4, 2025, Las Vegas: a photograph of Judge Hardy and Alexander Falconi, side by side, at a law firm's holiday party. Four reactions, the first shown being "Joe Hardy." Captured by this site's publisher December 2025; the capture is held and can be produced.
Note. Judge Hardy sits in the Eighth Judicial District Court. The organization's own posts place its staff in his chambers in 2020, with its mug in his hand, and its founder beside him at a party in 2025, with the judge reacting to both. The January 2024 statement sits between the two. The photographs above are his own, posted in the year after it.
Standard. The excerpt is cut from the video Our Nevada Judges published, with its picture, sound and on-screen labels unaltered, and the full video is linked at the time mark. The on-camera quotation was transcribed from the video and checked a second time by machine; the time mark opens the video where the words begin so the reader can hear them. Each answer from the record is a quotation from a filed document, cited to the page. Nothing is characterized; where the two are set side by side, the reader draws the conclusion.
